By December 6th  – What advice would you give to a student beginning this course about  (a) how to design a function? From my own experience of learning CSC104, and by doing the projects, I find it is helpful to design a function by observing the check-expect and by make contact with the knowledge we learned during the class, it will almost make your function design well down. Also, it will be necessary to first distinguish whether the function is a list or a number or an image. In addition, I think using the office hour is also a good way to help you to design the function. For example, I have some question about one check-expect function   (b) How to prepare for this course? For me, I think every weeks’ quizzes  is necessary to prepare for this courses, almost the course  most important part will be shown on the quizzes, it is a good way to review and prepare, the crows material which the proof post on the website is a good way to prepare for the crouse, too.

SLOG OCT,27th

In order to preparing for a quizzes and tests,  I usually use the week exercise and by using the Dracket”s step, I can easily understand each step and be confident enough to take part in the quizzes. I remember one of the images that I made which made me feel really enjoyed is the heart images, I scale it and made it solid red, the images made me feel really impressed and I showed it to my friends, they also felt impressed and by doing so, I feel it is a worth process for me to study CSC104. I found the define part very hard, because at first I can’t distinguish the parameter and body and  name part clearly, but by reviewing for the quizzes and doing the week exercise and preparing for the test 1, now I can easily distinguish the differences between them. Of course, I think in order to get my ideal mark, it is necessary to ask questions which made  me felt confused, up to now , everything seems goes well. SLOG

SLOG 1. The reason that I choose CSC 104 is it is my first time to contact computer programing. To be honest, I am not a person who have a huge interest in computer, before I went to university the only reason that I would open my computer is to search information of my essay and use pages to hand in my essay. Because I want to take CSC 108next semester, I think this semester I choose to take CSC104 will be helpful for me to fit in the need of CSC108 and get familiar with the computer language. After this semester, I will be happy if I can easily deal with the DrRacket code. 2.Actually, I never thought about what would programing be like before. The only thing in my mind is that programmer may do some setting of the computer language and make it more convenient to the public.
